12 Steps to Achieve Success in Anything

Brian Tracy has a simple success formula.  It’s The 12 Step Program.

No, it’s not that 12 Step Program.

It’s a 12 Step Program to achieve whatever you want.

He also refers to it as his 12 Step Program for Personal Excellence.

I’ve written about Brian Tracy’s 12 Steps to Set and Achieve Any Goal before, but now I want to show how Tracy applies his 12-step recipe to fitness, relationships, and financial goals.

Once you see the pattern, it makes perfect sense.

The main idea is simply to add more precision and focus to the specific goal that you are focused on.

BTW – if you think that 12 steps doesn’t sound simple, then think about it simply as Purpose, Plan, and Persistence.   The 12 steps actually help you really figure out your purpose, plan out your process to take action, and persist against resistance and obstacles.  That’s it.

Conquering Morning Anxiety in the Workplace

Morning anxiety can enormously affect your level of productivity. If you are one of those many people who are battling with anxiety every morning, you have to find ways to conquer it before everything becomes too difficult for you to deal with. One of the ways to beat morning anxiety is to come up with morning routines that will set you up for the following eight hours of high productivity.

Be on time.

Perhaps you have heard this being said by your boss a couple of times. This may seem like a very common advice, so common that many people have already ignored it. But, little they realize that arriving on or before the time can greatly jumpstart your productivity for the day. Do it not just for the sake of leaving good impressions to your boss or to anybody in the workplace. But, you should realize that arriving on time will make it easier for you to accomplish many tasks for the day.

Perform deep breathing exercise.

Mornings can be stressful and this is so true especially to people who need to survive those several minutes or an hour of commute just to get to the office on time. Not to mention the fact that they are aware about leaving plenty of house chores at home because they just do not have enough time for it and that they need to go to work. These are just few of the reasons why you need to take a moment to meditate and breathe deeply. Meditation and deep breathing may only last for ten to fifteen minutes but this will already be long enough to relieve you from much anxiety and clear all the cobwebs from your thoughts. Thus, you will be assured of giving yourself a good “boot” before starting any task.

Don’t skip breakfast.

Breakfast is badly needed by your body not just because you need to have enough physical strength to last for eight hours or more in the workplace. But, you also need to eat to fuel your mind and prevent yourself from being vulnerable to the symptoms of anxiety and stress.

Watch out on your mood.

Starting the day with a bad mood will not only ruin your day. But, this can also have an adverse impact on your co-workers. Keep in mind that emotional intelligence can enormously influence the working atmosphere. If you claim that you are not a morning person, might as well forget that you are like that if you truly want to succeed. Mornings are crucial beginnings. This is reason enough why you have to start the day with a good mood. Otherwise, you can just easily ruin everything in the workplace.

Your morning routines can significantly impact your productivity. These routines can help lead you to your goals. But, without these you may find it hard to achieve your desired level of productivity. Start the day right by doing what is right, and everything else will just fall into place.
