Will another late night war brew between George Lopez and Conan O’Brien?
Turns out the former ‘Tonight Show’ host is moving to TBS this November and may steal the spotlight from Lopez. According to reports, Conan’s new show will air Monday through Thursday at 11 p.m., shifting ‘Lopez Tonight’ to 12 midnight!
The new show can either be a great lead-in for ‘Lopez Tonight’ or have the Mexican-American host playing second fiddle.
Let’s not forget that when O’Brien’s late night war with Jay Leno began a few months ago, NBC wanted the former’s show scheduled past midnight. Apparently Conan wasn’t having it and walked away with a $32 million settlement package.
